In 1987, sensing a growing need for professional property management in the areas outside of Boston, I surveyed local businesses and uncovered a new management concern.

Although Boston based firms offered the administrative services, their staff often lived several hours away from the property. This distance resulted in sporadic visits to the site creating delays with follow up to servicing client needs. In an effort to fill this void I created a local company managing local properties.

As we excel in the twenty-first century, my vision for Mercantile Property Management is clear: to remain sensitive to the needs of our clients while providing first rate professional property management, to work as a highly motivated team without losing sight of the individual needs within our company, and to identify ways to give back to the communities which have helped us grow and made our jobs more meaningful.
